ceramics Studio

In our ceramics studio, not only do we make bowls, mugs, figurines, pots, unique sculptures, and more—but we teach you how to make them, too. We have an active studio membership for the use of our facility, as well as a regular, flexible schedule of classes in our studio.  Every student that takes a class leaves with several of their own pieces.

--- *Schedule UPDATE!* We will now have TWO weeks of throwing on the wheel! Thanks to the wonderful feedback from our students, we've realized that one night of throwing just wasn't enough. Starting in August, Intro to Ceramics will be four weeks to accommodate. ---

Learn the basics of creating your own ceramic pieces from local ceramists Alicia and Marika. Over a three-week course, we will focus on throwing clay on the wheel, trimming your pieces, and glazing to make your work unique. This class is great for beginners and helpful for those with limited experience working with clay. Completion of Intro to Ceramics will give you access to a Ceramics Membership.

NOTE: We highly recommend taking three weekly sessions in a row with the same instructor, though we can be flexible in some cases. If you need an exception for scheduling purposes, you must email chrisizor@makebhm.com before the start of the first session.
