CONCRETE PLANTERS

TUESDAY & THURSDAY, APRIL 14 & 16, 6:30pm

Join Astrid of Vivatia Plants in for a two-day hands-on workshop. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of concrete crafting and design while creating their own custom planters and dishes using beautiful marbling techniques. Students will learn about concrete types, mixing ratios, mold preparation, pigmentation, marbling effects, proper curing, and finishing methods.

Throughout the class, each participant will design and cast at least 3–4 unique concrete pieces, including small planters and decorative dishes, guided step-by-step through the full process from pour to finish. Day one focuses on material knowledge, color mixing, and casting. Day two covers demolding, sanding, sealing, and final detailing.

No prior experience is required; this class is beginner-friendly and process-focused, with plenty of room for creativity and experimentation. All materials and tools are provided, and participants will leave with functional, one-of-a-kind concrete pieces ready to use or gift.
