Saturdays, May 17 - June 7, 10am - 12 pm

Learn to build big using the coil method Jess of Jenkies Studio. Explore another method of hand-building in this beginner/intermediate level coil building course. Students will focus on creating one larger, more complex vessel over the course. This piece may be sculptural or functional, abstract, or more classic in its composition; vases, jars, bowls, and sculptural works like animal heads/busts. Come prepared with a sketch or general vision for your final goal.

All materials and tools provided.

This class will cover the basic terminology and techniques of handbuilding with all materials supplied, so it’s ideal for both beginners and those who've completed Ceramics: Throwing.
